INGREDIENTS 1 pound butter - softened 1½ cups sugar 3 eggs 1 tblsp. vanilla 6 cups of flour *** 5½ to 6 cups of flour approx. 4 tsp baking powder pinch of salt |

INSTRUCTIONS |

1 Cream the softened butter and sugar. 2 Beat eggs and mix in vanilla. 3 Combine butter mixture with egg mixture. 4 Slowly mix in flour and baking powder. Should be a workable doughy consistency. 5. Add a pinch of salt and roll dough into a ball. 6 Take half the dough and set aside. In a large sided cookie sheet, spread out ½ the dough mixture to create a base. Also include sides. 7. After base crust is finished, cover dough base with comstock fruit filling of your choice. [Have at least 3 cans on hand] 8. Crumb remainder of dough mix and spread over the top. 9. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hr. till golden brown. |
