1 can light cherry pie filling

1 teaspoon almond extract

1 cup reduced fat bisquick ?

1/4 cup orange juice

1 tablespoon sugar substitute

1 tablespoon Take control Margarine,


1 tablespoon slivered almonds

1 tablespoon orange zest

12 teaspoons ground cinnamon

6 tablespoons Cool Whip Lite?




1. Combine cherry filling and almond extract in an ungreased 8x8x2-inch baking pan.


2. Place in cold oven. Heat oven to 400 degrees and heat for 10 minutes and then remove from the oven.


3. Combine flour, sugar, and margarine, in a large mixing bowl; mix well. Add orange juice, stirring just until dry ingredients are moistened. Drop batter by tablespoonfuls over warm cherry filling, making at least 6 dumplings.


4. Bake 18 to 20 minutes or until topping is golden brown.


5. For topping: Place 1 tablespoon of Cool Whip over each dumping just before serving if desired. Combine almonds, sugar, orange peel and cinnamon in a small bowl; mix well. Sprinkle over dumplings or Cool Whip.


NOTE: I donít know what the (?) next to the Bisquick and Cool Whip means .

Does it mean it wasnít added in because they didnít know what the points were?? Does it mean they approximated points and added them in???



Reduced Fat Bisquick Seriving 1/3 of a cup = 3 points.

1 cup of Reduced fat Bisquick is 9 points.

Distributed amongst 6 servings, would add another 1.5 points.
