Bread Pudding

POINTS per serving

 I don’t know how many serving this will yield, but the total number of points is: 25.  If this serves 4, the point are approx: 6

Yield/Serves:

INGREDIENTS

 

6 slices light whole wheat bread (3 pts)

  cups Skim Plus milk (7 pts)

3 eggs (egg beaters) (1 pt)

4 T. reduced margarine, melted (12 pts)

1 tsp vanilla (0 pts)

¼ cup Splenda (0 pts)

½ cup raisins, (4 pts) *

* “1 – 2 handfuls of raisins” was the way the original recipe read … I ask you, how can you measure points by handfuls???  So, I deemed a handful a ½ cup.  If you want 2 “handfuls”, adjust accordingly.

if desired cinnamon to taste nutmeg to taste

 

INSTRUCTIONS

 

Blend all ingredients (minus the bread) in the blender. Pour over the bread (torn into pieces). Let stand 20 minutes.

 

Bake @ 425 degrees for 60 - 70 minutes

 

Total points 23 (Divide by number of servings to get points per serving.)
