Hamburger Barley Vegetable Soup

Serves 6-8

Core

INGREDIENTS

1 lbs 93% lean ground beef

6 cups water

3 beef bouillon cubes or packets

2 cups sliced carrots

1 cups coarsely chopped onion

1 cups coarsely chopped celery

cup green pepper chopped

28 oz. can tomatoes cut up and un-drained

cup catsup

8 oz. can tomato sauce

1 cup uncooked barley

1 teaspoon salt

teaspoon pepper

2 bay leaves

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Brown beef in 5 quart pot. Drain or remove fat.

2. Add remaining ingredients and bring to boil.

3. Reduce heat and cook for about 1 hour
